The Academic Council of the International Educational Corporation is the highest collegial governing body of the corporation, determining the concept of development, approving the structure and main areas of activity of the IEC.
The main functions of the Academic Council
- Determining the development strategy of the corporation, creating, reorganizing and liquidating educational and scientific departments.
- Considering issues of organizing educational, scientific, financial and economic activities.
- Approving the scientific supervisors of master’s and doctoral students, as well as educational materials for publication.
- Monitoring the use of extra-budgetary funds and the distribution of income from paid services.
- Awarding honorary titles, scholarships and awards.
Considering issues of nominating employees for state awards.
Composition of the Council
Formed for 3 years from the rector, vice-rectors, deans, heads of departments, representatives of teachers, students and public organizations. Approved by order of the rector.
